A timer for employed work, freelance clients and personal time — in one app. Start in one tap. The running timer stays on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
Track work the way it actually happens: start a timer, switch tasks, take a break, fix the gaps at the end of the day. No account, no sign-up — your records stay on your iPhone.
How it works
From the first tap to the finished invoice.
01 — Track
Keep the timer in reach
Start work, a break or a project with one tap — in the app, on Apple Watch or with Siri and Shortcuts. The running timer shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, where you can pause or stop it, and in your Home Screen widgets.

02 — Review
See the day. Fix the gaps.
The timeline shows every entry of the day. Fix My Day suggests entries for untracked gaps, optionally matched with your calendar events — read on your iPhone after you allow it. Nothing is added until you tap Apply.

03 — Bill
Bill from the hours you kept
Pick a week, month or year, filter by workspace, client or project and export a PDF, a CSV file for spreadsheets or an invoice — with your own rates and the client’s currency. You share the files yourself.

04 — Automate
Start when you arrive
Place automations start or stop a timer when you arrive at or leave a place, such as the office. They depend on iOS location services and work on a best-effort basis — check your times before you bill.

Your data
Your hours are nobody else’s business.
No account. Hourlo works without sign-up or login.
Stored on your iPhone. Entries, clients, rates and notes are saved on the device; the Apple Watch syncs directly with your iPhone.
Calendar only on request. Fix My Day reads calendar events on the device after you allow it — they are never uploaded.
Usage analytics without content. Anonymous app usage and crash reports (Amplitude, EU region, and Firebase) never include names, notes, rates or locations.
A time tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. You track work, client and personal time with a timer, review it on a timeline and turn it into reports and invoices.
Do I need an account?
No. Hourlo has no account and no sign-up. Your records are stored on your iPhone.
Does Hourlo read my calendar?
Only if you use Fix My Day and allow calendar access. Events are read on the device to suggest entries for gaps; Hourlo does not change your calendar and does not upload events.
How do place automations work?
You pick a place and choose to start or stop a timer when you arrive or leave. iOS notifies Hourlo when you cross the area. This needs location access “Always” and is best-effort, so check your entries before you rely on them.
Which export formats are there?
PDF reports, CSV files for spreadsheet apps and invoices. Files are created on your iPhone and shared through the iOS share sheet.
Does it work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The Watch app starts and stops timers and shows the running timer. It syncs directly with the iPhone app; complications and iPhone widgets are included.
How do I back up my data?
Hourlo stores data on your iPhone. Under Backup you can export a JSON file and restore it later; your iPhone backup may also include the app data.
Which languages are supported?
Hourlo is available in 16 languages, including English and German.
